I am at a loss for words！ My mind is blown and this was even better than the first！ Forever screaming into the void over that ending！ I am so happy to see Bonded Fate out in the world now， so we can all scream and flail together。Beck Michaels really delivered in this sequel， and everything I loved about the first book was there， tenfold。 Dyna has really come into her character arc throughout this book。 One of my issues with her in the first was her stubborn naivety and innocence。 Of course， I re I am at a loss for words！ My mind is blown and this was even better than the first！ Forever screaming into the void over that ending！ I am so happy to see Bonded Fate out in the world now， so we can all scream and flail together。Beck Michaels really delivered in this sequel， and everything I loved about the first book was there， tenfold。 Dyna has really come into her character arc throughout this book。 One of my issues with her in the first was her stubborn naivety and innocence。 Of course， I realized that was a feature and not a flaw， and it only makes her progression in this book sweeter to see。 Dyna has been exposed to the realities of the world beyond her home and is more cautious， hardened， and certainly not as trusting。 I really appreciated that aspect of her arc， because you can really see how much the events of the previous book （and this one！） have been molding her actions and personality。I loved Cassiel in this book， probably even more than I loved him in the first one！ He struggles a lot in this book， over his bond with Dyna and what that means for their futures and how others will regard them。 Honestly， I found that so thoughtful and refreshing， rather than accept it unquestioningly， these characters truly try to consider the meaning and value behind it， as well as how it could influence their decisions。 Cassiel is still broody， but he’s also so genuinely caring and compassionate， I feel like he’s going to be a true force to be reckoned with in future books。 Watch out y’all。That said， the romance and the angst in this book is SO rewarding！ I was on the edge of my seat multiple times。 You know that “Now Kiss！” meme？ Yeah， that was me 😅 Also， get ready for the return of our all-time favorite， the THERE’S ONLY ONE BED TROPE。 *woot woot*The other characters in this really pull their weight as well。 Beck Michaels does a great job of keeping us invested in the stories of her supporting characters， to the point that you forget they’re supporting characters at all。 We learn a lot more about Lucenna （I was not ready for that twist！） and I am dying to see where her story goes next。 I just want to give Zev a warm hug and see him happy， it hurts so much knowing how much pain he’s in and how much self loathing he experiences。 I really need to see his cinnamon roll side shine and see him happy。 I loved Rawn in this and am so glad he was there with us throughout this wild ride！I am also SO intrigued by Von and Yavi。 I have some serious theories there about their role in the story and prophecy， as well as the role of other characters we meet briefly （those Azure Guard members， eh eh！？🤔）。Needless to say， I loved this sequel and can say that it’s hands down， rooted this series as a favorite and one you can bet I’ll be continuing to devour。 Thank you so much to Beck Michaels for sending me an early copy for review！ 。。。more

Now that's how you write a second book！！ I'll come out first and say it is slower then book one， BUT we get many differnt POV chapters。 Many characters are portrayed in Bonded Fate， and we get to see many relationships grow and break。 This world is HUGE！ And one of the things I loved about book one was how fast the adventure started。 Book one threw a lot of world building at us。 And book 2， Bonded Fate， continues it。 Dyna is still out MFC and she brings it this book！ She grows as a character， as Now that's how you write a second book！！ I'll come out first and say it is slower then book one， BUT we get many differnt POV chapters。 Many characters are portrayed in Bonded Fate， and we get to see many relationships grow and break。 This world is HUGE！ And one of the things I loved about book one was how fast the adventure started。 Book one threw a lot of world building at us。 And book 2， Bonded Fate， continues it。 Dyna is still out MFC and she brings it this book！ She grows as a character， as a magic user and as a love interest **Instert heart eyes** Cassiel is still moody lol。 But he wears his heart on his sleeve。 Zev really struggles this book， and I am very interested in seeing how his character pulls through his emotional turmoil。 It of course ends on another cliff hanger UGHHH！！ But this was just an fantastic， well-written book。 It was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish。 I love where every character is at， but would love to slap some of them obviously *wink*。Some big things get revealed in this book， and we meet some very interesting characters that I really hope we continue to see in the next books！ Overall: amazing！ **Thank you Beck Michaels for allowing me to read your amazing story！ I received and eARC and this is my honest review** 。。。more

📚ARC review: Bonded Fate by Beck Michaels📚This book was such a wild ride。 It’s book 2 in the Guardians of the Maiden series， and it did NOT disappoint！ It’s got a very Lord of the Rings meets ACOTAR/FBAA vibe， and the world building is incredible—from mages， werewolves， and Celestials to orcs， trolls and elves， I love how the author introduces so many magical beings and places throughout the story。 It’s the slowest of slow burn romances （seriously， it was frustrating and painful but I loved ever 📚ARC review: Bonded Fate by Beck Michaels📚This book was such a wild ride。 It’s book 2 in the Guardians of the Maiden series， and it did NOT disappoint！ It’s got a very Lord of the Rings meets ACOTAR/FBAA vibe， and the world building is incredible—from mages， werewolves， and Celestials to orcs， trolls and elves， I love how the author introduces so many magical beings and places throughout the story。 It’s the slowest of slow burn romances （seriously， it was frustrating and painful but I loved every second of it）， and has so many of my favorite tropes。 Like ALL OF THEM （no spoilers 🤐）。 I did really enjoy the first book， but I absolutely devoured this one and I’m already ready for the next book in the series。 。。。more

OMG！！！ my heart is so happy💗 i can’t remember the last time i felt this satisfied after reading a book—that ending tho😶。 i don’t often meet a book that i will re-read， but this is one。 the only thing i regret is how long i’ll have to wait for the next one！If you liked the first book， fear not， it truly only gets better。 Including more:- Lucenna being the absolute baddest b*tch， i looove how her magic is written， also she is hilarious - Rawn being dad。 he is Sir Davos from GoT in the body of Lego OMG！！！ my heart is so happy💗 i can’t remember the last time i felt this satisfied after reading a book—that ending tho😶。 i don’t often meet a book that i will re-read， but this is one。 the only thing i regret is how long i’ll have to wait for the next one！If you liked the first book， fear not， it truly only gets better。 Including more:- Lucenna being the absolute baddest b*tch， i looove how her magic is written， also she is hilarious - Rawn being dad。 he is Sir Davos from GoT in the body of Legolas🧝🏻♂️- Cassiel and Dyna being SO ADORABLE- Cassiel and Lucenna being sassy savages- Zev and Cassiel being best bros （and occasionally being not best bros at all， maybe cuz Zev didn’t get to be best man at a certain wedding？ *cough cough* such fun！） - Von losing my last shred of sympathy😒 seriously Yavi， dump his ass - Urn/Azure history and mythology- New characters that will deff be back😉- Faeries🧚🏻♀️Favorite things: 1。 How seamlessly this story continues to flow。 nothing feels rushed， nor is there a dull moment。 the plot is complex but easy to follow。 the transitions between POVs are smoooth。 2。 Dyna having to learn how to use her power， struggling with it， and still cracking under pressure—it just feels a lot more realistic， if magic were real。 3。 Cassiel。 so precious。 so grumpy。 so soft。 4。 Character growth that actually sticks with the characters and is demonstrated in their thoughts and actions going forward！！ they still struggle and have set-backs but it doesn’t contradict the growth and i am here for it！！！5。 Cassiel and Dyna。 i am REVELING in every adorable， tension-filled， relationship-building， hand-holding moment， and this book has no shortage。 the way their desires and fears confused their emotions and their interpretation of each other’s feelings through the bond was such angsty goodness。 they may be the like-each-other-but-can’t-admit-it-first trope but in this case i think it works because you never doubt that they care for each other and the insecurities holding them back are actually explained， make sense， and are addressed！ in the interest of pretending some level of critical thinking， i will say that if anyone i know in real life described their relationship with the words “blood bond” and/or “union of souls” i would be。。highly alarmed。 that being said， the entirety of my happiness depends on cassiel and dyna surviving this series without permanent physical or emotional damage， blood bond intact， and i will not know peace until then。 6。 All the relationships！！ every one is just so well developed。 i really can’t stress enough how much i love when all the characters we care about are in the same place and working together and there is so much dialogue and it is so fun， even when they are being attacked and chased by enemies across all of Azure。 7。 Zev’s struggle with depression。 while heartbreaking， it’s something that is not often portrayed in fantasy。 it was a dark and constant internal battle that affected his relationships even though he didn’t want it to。 it was so sad， but i expect we will see a lot of development from him in accepting forgiveness from himself and finding his reason to live。 8。 Everything。 this book was perfect！ the only bad thing about this series is that i can’t imagine how the next ones can possibly get any better， but i wholeheartedly trust that Beck does！！ Thank you so so much to the author， Beck Michaels， for allowing me to receive an eARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review！！！！ i am so grateful！！ i’m really not sure my sanity would have lasted another 10 days and have no idea how it’ll last another year now😭 。。。more

How do I summarize my feelings after finishing this…It’s a rollercoaster ride through all seven layers of Hell， driven by the shadow demon itself。 Just when you think everything is running nice and smooth you’re actually slowly making that climb up another hill before it plunges you into another healthy dose of PAIN and ANGST。 I like to think I have a high tolerance for angst， but there were moments that brought me to my knees。 I want to scream and declare my undying love for a certain Celestial How do I summarize my feelings after finishing this…It’s a rollercoaster ride through all seven layers of Hell， driven by the shadow demon itself。 Just when you think everything is running nice and smooth you’re actually slowly making that climb up another hill before it plunges you into another healthy dose of PAIN and ANGST。 I like to think I have a high tolerance for angst， but there were moments that brought me to my knees。 I want to scream and declare my undying love for a certain Celestial。 But first， I want to talk about Zev。 There’s nothing I want more than to see him forgive himself for his father’s death all those years ago。 It was so painful to see him struggle with his trauma through each chapter just to keep hold of that semblance of happiness。 He walks a long， dark road still and I cannot wait to see him rise above it all—however painful it may be getting there。 Now。 Cassiel and Dyna。 If you were rooting for them at the end of Divine Blood， without going into anything too spoilery， THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU。 Bonded Fate takes their relationship and soars to whole new heights。 I ugly cried more times than you could even imagine because of them。 Is it painful？ Yes。 Gods， YES。 Will you be satisfied？ Let my ugly crying be enough evidence for the love I have for Dyna and Cassiel。 They are easily， hands down， one of my top favorite OTPs。 I’m here for them to whatever end。 :*）You’ll be introduced to plenty of new and interesting characters。 One of the things I loved most was getting to know Lucenna better since you only get a few glimpses of her POV in Divine Blood。 She’s very much a main character in this one。 And while there were moments when I questioned her motives， I found her to be one of the most intriguing characters in this series so far。 I can’t wait to see more of her in the future books and how her story will play out！ As for the ending…*cue my nervous laughter* Having that third book in my hands within the hour would be fabulous， BUT…I shall wait patiently for it。 Painful as it is， it’s bloody brilliant！！ That revelation blew my mind and has me reeling still。 Seeing all those pieces come together at the end…*chef’s kiss* Well， done Beck！！ 。。。more

July 24， 2021“From dawn and until dusk， my heart and mind are filled with you。 It will always be you。”Oh dear， where to begin？ Beck Michaels did it again！ I loved Bonded Fate （BF） more than I loved Divine Blood （DB） - the first book in the series， and that is saying much because Divine Blood was one of my top 2020 reads （see my Divine Blood review here）。Bonded Fate picked up from where Divine Blood left off and like the first book， this was also written in multiple POV’s， something that I must s July 24， 2021“From dawn and until dusk， my heart and mind are filled with you。 It will always be you。”Oh dear， where to begin？ Beck Michaels did it again！ I loved Bonded Fate （BF） more than I loved Divine Blood （DB） - the first book in the series， and that is saying much because Divine Blood was one of my top 2020 reads （see my Divine Blood review here）。Bonded Fate picked up from where Divine Blood left off and like the first book， this was also written in multiple POV’s， something that I must say Beck Michaels excel at。 I love reading stories written in multiple POV’s and I am aware that it can be challenging to deliver because this is how readers see the difference in character personalities， but Beck Michaels definitely delivers。 The character’s name is written in each chapter page but even without it， you would clearly know who’s POV you were reading。I initially planned to reread DB before picking up BF for a refresher but because of impatience， I decided to pick up Bonded Fate and ditch the reread plan。 Although it has been almost a year since I read DB， I didn’t have any issues returning to this world because Beck Michaels provided snippets of what happened in DB。The beginning was a little slower but the build up was worth it for what’s to come because of the angst， tension， and all of the foreshadowing。“Sometimes the world is cruel，” […] “It can be lonely and dark， and convince you that you’re worthless， but the reality is， it takes courage to find worth within yourself。 Each life is valuable。 Each given a purpose， regardless if you believe it or not。 I know your worth， Cassiel。 So should you。”I will always have a soft spot for my stupid celestial， everytime Cassiel is hurt or in pain I feel it too， I think we are one and connected， LOL。 The small gestures that makes my heart swell！ He’s still broody， arrogant and tactless but have come a long way with his character development the same with Dyna。 She remains to be kind （and still needs a leash）， she’s also like a little girl who wants to keep everyone she meets。 I loved the slow burn romance， it was beautiful and they made me giggle a ton of times although I may or may not have pulled my hair and screamed just kiss already！“The world is full of things I hate and do not need， but you…” […] “I need you。"If you read DB and loved it， I am confident that you are going to love BF more because it was indeed so much more！ The first book was just the tip of the iceberg and this sequel is where the action is， it was a roller coaster ride。 The world became bigger， the action sequences became more intense， the emotions and feelings became more complex and matured （yeah， I cried）。 It was lush with magic and bits of fairytale and a whole cadre of amazing old and new characters you couldn't help but love。。。even if some have proven over and over again why they are called stupid， they’re still my kind of stupid。 The set of characters have their own plot which adds to the complexity of the story and I cannot wait to meet all of the guardians and see where and how all their stories would intertwine！Trigger warnings:TraumaSuicideGriefThank you Beck Michaels for providing an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review。-------------------------------July 9， 2021Beck Michaels！！！ You！！！！ You！！ You！。。。。Proper review to follow😭 。。。more

"The whole world needs help。You cannot save everyone" Dyna: "I can damn well try"What a ride！ Bonded Fate is nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster， the plot， characters， adventure， layers and layers of goodness。 While I really enjoyed Divine Blood， I am in LOVE with its sequel， thanks to Beck for my street team advanced reader copy。 I thoroughly enjoyed everything in this book， the plot itself is set in the premise of adventure and travel and the author did a phenomenal job with keeping r "The whole world needs help。You cannot save everyone" Dyna: "I can damn well try"What a ride！ Bonded Fate is nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster， the plot， characters， adventure， layers and layers of goodness。 While I really enjoyed Divine Blood， I am in LOVE with its sequel， thanks to Beck for my street team advanced reader copy。 I thoroughly enjoyed everything in this book， the plot itself is set in the premise of adventure and travel and the author did a phenomenal job with keeping readers engaged all through the journey she takes us on！After ending on a painful cliffhanger， the plot picks up where it is left。 Dyna and Cassial comes to a non-verbal agreement where they remain amicable to focus on what's coming for them， Dyna is in turmoil with the latest revelation while Zev is slowly succumbing to his madness and his aggravating guilt。 They continue there treacherous journey with Rawn on the lead for a while only to meet another interesting （a quick personal favorite） Lucenna who is on a mission of her own， I absolutely loved this little found family and their dynamic and savored the growing bromance between Zev and CassielAs per the characters there are numerous characters that were introduced， I have to applaud Beck for carefully balancing the intro of new players while adding depth to the existing characters。 Dyna's character takes the cup for how much she has grown from naive damsel to a determined fighter， her arc is beautiful while Cassiel's hard exterior keeps chipping off little by little。 What I noticed was that none of the characters were wasted， giving them a key role and sub-plot of their own adding further layers to the plotThe Romance is beautiful， its quite a slow burn where it takes immense time to build based on trust and belief in each other- From Dawn and until dusk， my heart and mind are filled with you。It will always be you"This is my kind of romance- slow， steady and matured。 I never reread but Chapter 55 pulled at all my heart strings making me want to reread every time it comes to my mind！ Stupid Human and Stupid Celestial makes it up for all the fans for keeping them waiting， I have one word to describe the chapter- Beautiful "Ett haor sheli，" he said in the language of the heavens， his voice so soft it was almost a whisper。Even in raging chaos around her， the shrieks of the sea creatures， and the explosions of spells， she heard him loud and clear。 "From the first day we met， you have proven to me time and again that you are capable of more than I could ever have imagined。I believe you can do this。I know you can" Overall its a pretty amazing experience although I am kind of still mad （ok maybe a little mad） about the cliffhanger ;）READ IF YOU LIKE:-LOTR kind of adventurous fantasy-Slow burn romance-Prophecies-Fantasy elements like shifters， Fae， Celestials， Witches and whatnot-Layered and Character driven plotsTW- The book has mentions about suicide， loss and grief！ 。。。more

I am always a little apprehensive when reading the sequel to a book I really loved。 I find I am constantly reading really great novels who go on to have sequels that are far less exciting， less interesting， or simply fall flat。 I was very pleased to find this was NOT the case for Bonded Fate， and if anything， it was even better than Divine Blood。 The story has become even more intricate， with new characters connected to the original plot in interesting ways。 I really appreciate the way that the I am always a little apprehensive when reading the sequel to a book I really loved。 I find I am constantly reading really great novels who go on to have sequels that are far less exciting， less interesting， or simply fall flat。 I was very pleased to find this was NOT the case for Bonded Fate， and if anything， it was even better than Divine Blood。 The story has become even more intricate， with new characters connected to the original plot in interesting ways。 I really appreciate the way that the characters are written to be flawed， but you are still able to understand their motivations and thought process。 I especially loved getting to know Lucenna's character， and found I was very invested in her endeavors。 Cassiel continues to be a favorite of mine， and I loved enjoyed getting to read about his internal struggles with his self worth。 There is some really interesting developments in the bonds between the characters that I am looking forward to seeing progress。 I also felt like a lot of the questions I had in the first novel were addressed， at least in part， in Bonded Fate。 I am already looking forward to the next installment and seeing more of the story unfold！ 。。。more
